Celebrating the 7th Anniversary of Sangatta's Army (Kodim), Thiess Indonesia Sangatta site in cooperation with Sangatta's Army held a blood donation event on Thursday, 24 May 2012 with theme: "Your blood contributes to life".

Took place at Sangatta Army's Headquarter, the event was enthutiastically participated by donors from several institutions including Indonesian Army (TNI AD), Indonesian Navy (TNI AL), Indonesian Police Department (POLRI), employees of Thiess Indonesia Sangatta site, and the local community. The event was a success with hundreds of participants exceeding set target of 50-60 donors.

Not only as a charity event, the blood donation was also aimed to strengthen a good relationship between Thiess Indonesia, government institutions and the surrounding community.
