One of the most important moments for Thiess, Training Centre especially, was held on 19 October 2011. This annual event took place in Aula Pemkot Balikpapan. TC graduated its ninety nine apprentices of group 17, including six females. The graduation ceremony was attended by Sekjen Disnakertrans, the Vice gov of East Kalimantan along with the local government officials, Thiess Management Representatives and apprentices' parents.

Every year our Training Centre recruits apprentices who are trained in classes and sent to Thiess sites to have on job training where they do not only apply the knowledge but also get experience for becoming more skillful. This five-year program is one of the outstanding programs that Training center has provided for a number of years. The government thanked our company, especially Training Center, for its contribution by conducting such a program.
