Bukit Baru Transmigration Village is located at the border of our Thiess Satui mining area. At the village, there is a monthly Integrated Health Post (Posyandu) to provide basic health service for mother and child, such as measuring child growth, family planning, immunisation, promotion in nutrition and diarrhoea prevention. It is a community participation program under supervision from the local community health centre (Puskesmas). Thiess Satui has been supporting the post with donation of food supplement for kids and mother.

In addition to existing support, on 6 June 2011, Thiess Satui donated some equipment urgently needed by the post; a baby weight scale, examination mattress, bed sheets and signage. It is hoped that the donation will give a positive contribution in maintaining healthy babies and mothers at Trans Bukit Baru Village.
