English class at SMK Muhammadiyah 1, Sangatta is a Community Development Program at Thiess-Sangatta Project. It is a students' mentoring program that held every week on Saturday. The class is conducted by our ESL Trainers with 20 students as the participants. The program also involves our expatriates to be the trainer in order to help the students getting an experience of real communication with English native speaker.

On 26 February 2011, we were lucky to have Ms. Kate, wife of Mr. Christopher James Walshie (Senior Mining Supervisor), joining the class. The students were enjoying activity and showed their enthusiasm during the class since they were studying English through interactive games. They loved the class and are eager to have similar opportunities in following classes.
