To open the year of 2011, Thiess-Sanggata project held Blood Donation program. The program is one of company's concerns to its community out of consideration that the program will support Sangatta's Red Cross in collecting blood to save people's life in the community. Also, it intended to raise employees' awareness of the importance of blood donating as well as to encourage them to donate their blood.

Taking place at Thiess Camp Swarga Bara on 29 January 2011, this four-hour program ran well with enthusiasm of participants. Hopefully, the similar programs will be regularly held in future as a realization of Thiess-Sangatta Project's commitment to the community.
