On 15 November 2010, Thies Jakarta held a "Computers for Better Educaton" donation event at Cilincing Sub-District, North Jakarta. The donation was presented by TCI's CEO Roy Olsen to the community through some NGOs involved in children care and education, which are World Vision Indonesia, Sahabat Anak, Sanggar Anak Akar, Al-Khairiyah Orphanage, Azahra Foundation, Mitayani Foundation, Rebung Cendani Foundation, Komunitas Peduli Kampung Halaman Tegal Gundil Bogor dan Taman Fioreti Orphanage. During the event, Thiess Jakarta team also visited the local children community center and had fun with the kids.

In Sept-Nov 2010, Thiess Indonesia held a "Computers for Better Education" program across its sites. It is a program where TCI donated a total of 780 used computers and laptops to the community surrounding TCI's sites as a contibution to improve children education especially in ICT skills.
