Located at St. Fransiskus Assisi Sangatta Junior High School, 24 September 2010, TCI Sangatta signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Prestasi Junior Indonesia, an NGO engaged in the development of students' entrepreneurial skills. The event was attended by Vice Regent of East Kutai, PJI Director and TCI Management.

In addition to MoU signing, Thiess Sangatta also handed over computer donation to schools located in Sangatta, Rantau Pulung & gave awards for outstanding students.

The event was part of Thiess commitment to education and community surrounding its project sites.
