On 16 September 2010, TCI launched the Computers for Better Education donation at Balikpapan State Islamic School, Tanjung Kelor. During the event, Business Services Manager Scott Beckwith officially handed computers and laptops to Vice Major of Balikpapan Bapak Rizal Effendi as the representative of donation recipients. As many as 113 computers/laptops were donated to 15 schools and community institutions in Balikpapan.

Gradually in September-October 2010, similar events will be conducted across TCI's sites and office. The Computers for Better Education Program is distributing a total of 793 computers/laptops as part of TCI's commitment to the community and education.
