On March 27, 2010, BSF conducted outbound activities with SDN 005 Balikpapan Manggar through Teaching Voluntary - Community Program. The event was enthusiastically greeted by the students and attended by the Department of Education, Office of Tourism, Community leaders and Thiess Management.

The event was a continuation of Teaching Voluntary activities conducted by BSF. With games attraction, these activities were believed to foster a sense of responsibility, compactness, a sense of solidarity and build sense of confidence of the children. During the event, BSF also donated some used Safety Shoes for DKPP.

The Local government conveyed its high appreciation for CSR programs conducted by Thiess Indonesia.
