Thiess Indonesia's Senakin Coal Mine Project received recognition for its outstanding safety performance from the Indonesian Manpower Ministery. Represented by Safety Manager Azlan Ismail, Thiess received the national "Zero Accident Award" for 35.8 million manhours worked onsite without a single Lost Time Injury (LTI).

The award was presented by the Indonesian Manpower Minister Erman Suparno at HotelSultan, Jakarta.
