On 7th October 2003 Thiess Contractors Indonesia went "live" with their new ERP JD Edwards. The JD Edwards ERP or JDE has been selected by Thiess as their global system for Accounting, Procurement, Asset Maintenance, Inventory and Project Management.

Currently in Indonesia all projects are connected to the JDE system and there are over 350 users of the system in Indonesia. All procurement is now done electronically from Papua to Kalimantan and stocks in warehouses can be seen live across Indonesia.

In 2004 additional modules such as Payroll and Project Management will be implemented. JDE is now a key part of the Thiess business and how we operate, it provides the company with the necessary systems for future growth.
