We are pleased to advise that there has been some progress in identifying worthy recipients for the donations collected from our employees. Our TCI representative in Aceh, Pak Irrawardy Manany, has met with community leaders and has identified that there is still a shortage of school uniforms for junior and senior high school students.

TCI will purchase the uniforms and transport them to Aceh where they will be distributed directly to the students. This will involve coordination with local Education Department. Our Procurement Department is currently seeking prices and will place orders.

The total amount raised was Rp 151,000,000 and this will be matched with a donation of Rp 151,000,000 from Thiess Indonesia.

We are also pleased to advise that Thiess Employees in Australia have raised $78,000, which has been donated to registered charities in Australia for use in the Aceh relief effort. The distribution of the matching amount of another $78,000 from Thiess Australia will be coordinated by Thiess Indonesia.
