Pit J of Thiess Contractors Indonesia Sangatta won Kadarigat Award for the best workshop in hydrocarbon management in the KPC area. This award puts Pit J as the best Major Workshop out of 29 workshops audited by KPC and reflects a great effort by all involved with Pit J. This achievement also becomes proof of cooperation between workshops and environmental team who continually seek solutions to problems, and in the same time allowing the team to maintain a high level of production. All 3 workshops in Thiess Contractors Indonesia Sangatta achieved nomination to receive the 2 awards for a Major Workshop, Porodisa (with score 87%) was nominated for most improved Major Workshop, and Melawan (90.7%) and Pit J (93.6%) were nominated for the best Major Workshop. KPC's goal is to have all workshop areas achieve greater than 80% compliance, it is pleasing to see all of Thiess Contractors Indonesia Sangatta workshops are above this level.

Kadarigat Award is an environmental award presented by KPC to the workshop area which strives to achieve environmental excellence. The awards are judged on 3 areas with varying weighting, Hydrocarbon management, spill & emergency management, and procedures. The results below reflect the high standard set by Thiess Contractors Indonesia and show the positive impact on our environmental performance by the plant employees and the environmental employees.
