RECRUITMENT & SELECTION PROCESS

Our process starts with our online application process through the website and as outlined below.

- Acknowledgement of your application
We’ll send you an email confirming receipt of your application. Please note, if you submit an incomplete application, it may not be considered.
- Phone Screening
If you progress to the next stage, you may be contacted for a phone screening so we can learn a little more about you, and go over a few assessment and timing details. These interviews take between 15 and 20 minutes.
- Behavioural Interviews
You may be invited to attend one or more structured interviews, which generally take around 45 minutes to one hour. Before the day, we will discuss details regarding your interviewers, the interview process and where your interview will be held, as well as any special needs you may have.
During the behavioural interview, you will be asked to give examples of situations that demonstrate your knowledge, skills and experiences. This is also a great chance for you to find out more about Thiess and the role.
- Further Testing/Assessment
For some roles, you may be asked to undertake further assessment, ie. Psychometric testing (eg ability tests). We’ll let you know more at the interview stage. Please feel free to talk to the recruiter if you are unclear about anything.
- Reference Checking
In your application, you must provide contact details for at least two professional referees who can confirm your experience. Please let us know if they may be contacted to comment on your skills and experience during the time you worked with them. Typically, your referees will have been your previous supervisors or managers, who have observed your abilities in the work environment.
- Verbal Offer
If successful, you will be made a verbal offer explaining, in detail, the package being offered.
- Formal Offer
If you make a verbal acceptance, you can look forward to a formal letter of appointment. Please sign this letter and return it to us to confirm your employment.
- Pre-employment Medical Check Up
If you accept our formal offer, you will be required to complete pre-employment medical check up. You must pass this pre-employment medical to be successful in your application of employment with TCI.
- Sign to Staff Agreement
You will require signing your agreement prior to start join with Thiess Indonesia.
